What is wellness and how is that impacting your future and the future of your organization? Wellness has a profound impact on organizational and team success. In this session, attendees will be learning about these universal markers for wellness: physical wellness, mental wellness, communication, time, and the unmistakable relationship between them.
Enhancing Physical Wellness - Our posture influences the trajectory of our life. Personally, professionally, financially, and mentally. In this session, attendees will gain knowledge and tips to immediately enhance professional and personal wellness, presence, emotional intelligence, and success while simultaneously reducing risk for pain, illness, injury, chronic disease, and associated medical costs.
Mental Health: Considerations for Leadership - Attendees will gain insight about the relationship between physical health and mental health, as well as learn and discuss proactive ways to enhance individual and organizational mental wellness best practices and discuss ways to increase utilization of presently underutilized wellness resources/services.
Enhancing Communication with Peers and Prospects -Communication, community, and connection are international indicators for longevity and health. Attendees will learn about different communication styles and ways to enhance the ability to understand and connect with others personally and professionally.
Time - Attendees will take time to reassess or clarify their role, priorities, and gain clarity on ways to integrate health and wellness into their daily schedule while also streamlining work processes.

About the speaker: Falkler Wellness & Advisory was started to have real conversations about wellness, including suicide, in the construction industry and do our part to help reduce these staggering numbers. Experience in corporate leadership development and physical therapy has demonstrated that enhancing physical wellness, can help to reduce risk for illness, injury, and mental illness. It can help to reduce risk for injuries which often lead to financial hardship, lost work time, decreased motivation, distraction, and/or reliance on medications which have been associated with increased risk for substance abuse.
